The United States Postal Service

The United States Postal Service, also known as the Post office or Postal Service, was founded on 1st July 1971. It is an independent agency of the executive branch of the U.S. federal government responsible for handling postal services in the United States, its associated areas, and insular areas. As of 2022, USPS has over 516,636 career employees and over 136,531 non-career employees.
